Wish List Wednesday, Volume 5

December will be upon us soon, so here are a few things that I'd like to get myself for the holidays.

1. 3DS Super Mario Edition - Well, that's what I initially wanted since the updated versions have amiibo support. But I lost interest when I found out that the system didn't come with a charger. Seriously? That sucks balls for a first time 3DS buyer since they would have to purchase it separately. Luckily, I have an awesome friend that will send me their extra NFC reader and save me some funds on the investment.


2. Special Edition Battle-Worn BB-8 with Force Band - I've been wanting this droid since I saw the demo of the Force Band at CES earlier this year. Shoot, if I can't have a dog in my house, then this is the next best thing to having a pet. 


3. Skagen watch - Another thing on my list of items I've had my eye on forever. It's the mesh band that attracted me to it in the first place. I don't wear a watch that often, but this may finally change once I get this. 



Surprisingly there's no beauty items on this list because I've done a good amount of damage Thanksgiving week. I'm good! =P

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck at Santana Row

Before heading to a bbq in the afternoon, much of my morning was spent waiting for the Hello Kitty Cafe truck at Santana Row in San Jose. This was the 3rd of 4 stops it would be making in the Bay Area for April. It was at the Cherry Blossom Festival a few weeks prior. That was where I saw it for the first time last year. Long story short, I was the first person in line for their Northern California debut, and it was totally unplanned. I knew I'd be there early, but not so much that everyone else had no clue where to find them. Goes to show that researching ahead of time (and also several years of experience at SD Comic Con) pays off! Although I wasn't first this time, I did happen to be among the first 10 people in line. Urban Decay Mini Haul

I'm currently in the middle of a no-buy for this month. Been doing a-OK so far, but of course I have a list going of things I'd like to purchase once it's done. Here are a few items that I've purchased from Urban Decay's site last month. L-R: NAKED nail color in Instinct, Vice Liquid Lipstick in Amulet, Vice Liquid Lipstick in Trivial NAKED Nail Color in Instinct - When UD's nail color line released, this shade sold out for a while. It was finally re-stocked last month, so I made sure to jump on it. The shade, a medium pink taupe with hint of pearl, is very pretty. Now I know why it flew out of their inventory.  Vice Liquid Lipsticks in Amulet and Trivial - I didn't go overboard when the Vice Liquid Lipsticks came out, but I will say that these have awesome staying power and comfortable wear. Not much was documented for June, but I did get the chance to try several food places.
