Wish List Wednesday, Volume 2

While still in recovery from SDCC (today is Wednesday, right?), this list consists of all things geeky.

1. Vans Nintendo Authentic - Duck Hunt - I have a few pairs that are in need of replacement. I chose this color since it's mostly neutral.


2. Funko Pop! Star Wars BB-8 (Thumbs Up) - I had no interest at all with hitting up Funko at SDCC. This was one of only a few figures that grabbed my interest. Thank goodness it's available at Hot Topic.


3. Overwatch Logo Hoodie - I figured since I love this game so darn much that I might as well get their hoodie. I'd make good use of it since they're one of my top wardrobe staples. 


4. Nintendo Classic Mini - I saw this in person at their gaming lounge and confirmed that yes, I must get it. The system includes 30 pre-installed games (still sad Contra isn't one of them) and costs under $100. 



5. Pokemon Go Plus - This would help save a ton of battery life on my phone, and I won't have to be holding it all the time trying to find nearby pokemon. Of course, its release has been delayed until September. I'm hoping the game itself runs a little better by then.

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck at Santana Row

Before heading to a bbq in the afternoon, much of my morning was spent waiting for the Hello Kitty Cafe truck at Santana Row in San Jose. This was the 3rd of 4 stops it would be making in the Bay Area for April. It was at the Cherry Blossom Festival a few weeks prior. That was where I saw it for the first time last year. Long story short, I was the first person in line for their Northern California debut, and it was totally unplanned. I knew I'd be there early, but not so much that everyone else had no clue where to find them. Goes to show that researching ahead of time (and also several years of experience at SD Comic Con) pays off! Although I wasn't first this time, I did happen to be among the first 10 people in line. Lucky number 7 to be exact. 2 other friends joined me before the truck opened for business. Urban Decay Mini Haul

I'm currently in the middle of a no-buy for this month. Been doing a-OK so far, but of course I have a list going of things I'd like to purchase once it's done. Here are a few items that I've purchased from Urban Decay's site last month. L-R: NAKED nail color in Instinct, Vice Liquid Lipstick in Amulet, Vice Liquid Lipstick in Trivial NAKED Nail Color in Instinct - When UD's nail color line released, this shade sold out for a while. It was finally re-stocked last month, so I made sure to jump on it. The shade, a medium pink taupe with hint of pearl, is very pretty. Now I know why it flew out of their inventory.  Vice Liquid Lipsticks in Amulet and Trivial - I didn't go overboard when the Vice Liquid Lipsticks came out, but I will say that these have awesome staying power and comfortable wear. Not much was documented for June, but I did get the chance to try several food places.
